Spring Uniform

Multitasking is not my strong point, you guys. I'm writing this post between frantic tax form filling (Procrastination is totally my strong point, as you can tell. Also, Turbo Tax may be mankind's best gift to itself.) and staring dreamily into the sunshine-y sky (What? That's a legit evening activity if you haven't seen the sun in six months!), so you know what's up if there's words that you don't recognize along the way. But what I'm trying to do despite my scatterbrained self is share this outfit that I wore on the second day of our trip to NYC. We shot these photos right opposite my favorite piece of architecture in NYC- the Flatiron Building. Consider me twice as happy when I not only get to share my love for fashion, but also my love of travel with you. :)

This look right here could very well be called my Spring uniform. A pair of well-fitting white skinny jeans, a breezy blouse in a fun print and some utilitarian but chic accessories. Work/School outfit? Check. Run errands? Check. Date night? Check. If you're one of the wild ones that prefers a Girl's day out, it'll work for that, too. ;) Isn't this flowy floral blouse from Moddeals the perfect Spring piece?! The bucket bag's been deemed the 'It bag' this season, and I've had an eye out for an affordable, even if smaller, version for a while now. Imagine my delight when I happened to chance upon the sole remaining one at an H&M in NYC (of all the places!), for a reasonable $15! They're on sale in-store and bound to be gone soon if not already, so run to your nearest H&M if you're in the market for a good bucket bag. :)
