(Almost!) Mini Skirt Weather
/It's a happy Friday when the sun is shining, tax day's almost a distant memory and the moment to address a week long craving for the bubble tea they make at that place that's thirty minutes away is almost here. Clearly, my weekend priorities are in order! In all honesty, I don't even care if it's the weekend or not anymore, you guys.. I've been floating around with a smile plastered on my face all week because the weather's been so good to us recently (about time!), and as a result, my happiness has been uncontrollable! What is it that Hellen Keller said about sunshine? Ah, yes.. 'Turn your face to the sunshine and you cannot see a shadow.'. Boss Lady definitely knew what she was talking about!
So today, along with my Cheshire cat grin comes a transitional look that's made of new and old favorites. Being on a tight budget of <$50 a month means that I'm an avid thrift shopper, and some of the most worn and versatile pieces in my closet are thrifted. Prime example is this pink turtleneck cashmere sweater I recently thrifted.. It's been just over a month and it's already gotten so much wear, thanks to it's buttery soft material and perfect Spring color. I paired it with an old floral mini skirt and comfy booties for a fun weekend day in town.
You need no introduction to my love for Statement necklaces, and this metallic braided beauty from The Shopping Bag goes with everything! The mixed metals and the antique finish add so much character, don't you think? Make sure you check out the carousel below for more of my favorites from the store and a special discount code for all you lovelies!
Thank you for reading, and have a fabulous weekend!
XO Sushmitha :)
