The LBD: Statement Sleeves Edition
/'Tis the season for little black dresses! Whether it's a holiday party or that NYE shindig, no outfit lets you blend in and yet stand out as a chic update to the LBD does. Enter these stunner sleeves that transform from a regular bell sleeve into cascading ruffles. So FUN! I kept it simple with a red lip, my everyday Mejuri earrings and these Gucci-esque pearl and tassel topped mules on account of having a limited accessory closet in my suitcase, but found myself wishing I'd carried a skinny belt and a shimmery clutch to complete the look. Speaking of suitcases, how pretty is this Main Quad area of Stanford University where we shot these photos on my last trip to California?? I played wifey sidekick to K as he gave me a short tour around his campus and needless to say, I've already made him promise to let me tag along at work on my next trip back. ;)
