Happy hump day, my friends! Popping in with a quick hello in the middle of a busy week to share a simple and chic look that I wore on Memorial Day! Since Kushal and I rarely even get weekends entirely off (Woo, PhD life. :|), we were determined to do something to celebrate the national holiday AND the glorious 75 deg weather, so we got out of our labs early, dressed up and went over to the local carnival by the harbour.

This is the third look from Peru that we shot while in Cusco, unless you count the following several days that I spent in hiking appropriate outfits aka leggings + sneaks on repeat, as blog-worthy fashion. ;) After Lima, we spent two full days in the valleys of Cusco before beginning our hike to Machu Picchu, and the charming city quickly became all of our favorite stops on our journey through the country.
