Happy Friday, everyone! This post is the first of a few outfits that I wore on our recent vacation to Peru, more of which are to follow all through next week.. I'm so excited to share not just my outfits, but also glimpses of the places we visited, to hopefully inspire you to travel to this beautiful country too. :)

Lima was so hot and humid on both of our days there that even the lightest pieces of clothing seemed like a bit much.. my expectations for this breezy printed tank + ripped jeans combo to keep me cool flew out the door in an instant! My espadrilles powered through a whole day of walking, so atleast my feet were happy, right? ;) We spent a good part of the day wandering in the vibrant Plaza De Armas that makes up the historic city center with it's stunning architecture and charming pastel walled alleys. After some partially successful conversations in broken Spanish in the bustling shopping district and a few cautious cab rides, we had more than a few laughs with some of our closest friends over the best Ceviche of our lives at La Mar Cebicheria. We all agreed that it was the perfect start to our holiday. :)
