Swing Shell: A Layering Hack
/Hiya, dearies! It's a single blog post this week and a quick one at that, as time just appears to vanish into thin air amidst a hectic work week. It only makes sense that things are piling up.. they somehow always seem to relentlessly gun one down right before a vacation! Kushal and I are headed to warm and sunny Puerto Rico this weekend, and between our busy work loads and the freezing snow we've been having to deal with, we're counting down to Friday! Join me virtually on my travels here on my Instagram and stay tuned for lots of travel posts to be updated on the blog soon after I'm back home. :)
As for today's post, I'm sharing the last of my winter looks for a bit, and it's one that's become a recent personal favorite! I'm always looking to get more wear out of my summer wardrobe.. anyone who lives in a serious winter zone will relate to that almost guilty feeling I feel every time I pack away my warm weather wardrobe, like my hard earned money's just wasting away in the dark storage cabinet for half the year. I fell in love with this swing-y grid print shell from Hutch a while ago, and was too impatient to wait until Spring to style it, so I simply layered it over my trusty turtleneck and loved how it looked! I think it's the easy versatility of this style formula that's made it a go-to, but I've been re-wearing so many summer blouses over knits since! Seeing your closet with fresh eyes is always the best feeling, don't you think? :)
Thank you for reading and have a wonderful week and weekend ahead!
XO Sushmitha :)
