It's a short week even for those of us merely observing Thanksgiving festivities and that's toootally fine with me, y'know? Even though I'll probably be in and out of the lab the whole time, I'm at that point in my graduate school career where working while belting out Adele in my sweats in a mostly deserted building doesn't really feel like work. I know.. it's either the theory of relativity at play in full force or grad school's really jaded my idea of a holiday. :| But when it's freezing out and a doctoral degree's to be earned and the new Adele album is THAT good, it's not so bad, is it? :)

Speaking of freezing, fall has officially become winter, accompanied by the ever loyal freezing wind situation, as you can probably tell from my struggle in these pictures to find an angle where my hair wasn't whipping around like I was in a triple tornado collision! On the upside, though, is that 1) the newest striped addition to my Hutch pocketed midi skirt collection is perfect dressed up or down for the holidays, 2) pretty gold delicates from Paisley + Sparrow shall be on repeat starting now (swing by my Instagram for a giveaway later today!), and 3) my over-the-knee boots are back in action, baby! Triple trumps on the hair situation, no?
