Proportion Play
/Floppy hat, chunky braid, flared jeans.. you're thinking what I'm thinking. I'm a walking country song. While my own musical tastes lie more in the classic rock genre, I have to admit that every once in a while, my inner country child needs to be embraced.. in a way that does not involve cowgirl boots, of course. Call me opinionated, but those made me wince even in a Taylor Swift video. And that never happens. #TayTayforever Okay, so I cheat on rock every so often, but there's more of a message hidden in today's look than random musical ramblings.. a message of proportion play. Being petite, it's tricky to love flared jeans and longline cardigans as much as I do, even more so together in one outfit! They're both on point for the season, but if not balanced together, can look very wrong on a small frame. Enter the crop top- a turtleneck crop top for the winter, to be precise. The short of it balances the long of the cardigan, and the fitted-ness of it balances the flare of the jeans. End result: still petite, just more boho-country-ish. :)
Thank you for reading and have an amazing weekend!
