Pretty In Pink
/Ahhh, Spring. If you're one of those anti-flowers aka anti-girly girls or simply in a very bad mood, I advise you against continuing to read any further, because I'm giddily happy and am about to wax eloquent on all of the flowers, my love for them and a whole lotta PINK! #nosurprisesthere I don't know what it is about flowers and spring that brings out the romantic in me, but I've been a silly, giggling teenager through all the shoots K & I have been trying to get in with the gorgeous flowering trees in our neighborhood! I guess I can credit the especially brutal winter that just ended for this, but saying that all the dreamy blooms have been a sight for sore eyes would be an understatement. And then of course, all of us visual people have the singular desire of looking like what we like to see, so meet this pretty pink set from Moddeals that had my back.
Call me cliched, but a monochrome pink look has got to be one of the better ways of embracing warm weather! Coordinated sets have been, and continue to be hugely popular, but if you're unwilling to invest in one of those, you can mix and match separates like I did here to make your own.. Spring cleaning may just turn into an at-home shopping sesh! :) I can't wait to style these pretty separates on their own, but couldn't resist the sheer and mesh details that brought them together so well. This scalloped trim, floral crop top is actually a fully lined mesh beauty, and I thought that the sheer, striped, mesh paneling on the skirt matched perfectly! Taupe accessories and romantic wavy hair completed this look. :)
Thank you for reading, and have a great week!
XO Sushmitha :)
