Pleated Blue Maxi Skirt
/It's a reprise of the twirly Tuesday here on le blog, y'all! When this dreamy pleated maxi skirt made it's way to me a little while ago, I'd almost squealed for joy at it's perfection- the fresh periwinkle blue (Hello, Pantone Serenity!), the weighty pleats, and above and beyond all else, the fact that I didn't need to consider stilt-walking as necessary training to be able to wear it. I mean, can we talk about maxi skirt #shortgirlproblems ? I'm almost always having to resort to ridiculously high heels or side-knotting with maxi skirts or dresses, so when I find one that I can pull off with comfy sandals, I twirl in it until I'm dizzy. Obvs.
The Northeast continues to treat us with sweater weather, so I went with a white cableknit turtleneck and neutral accessories for a chilly evening out, but come summer, you need have no doubts that I'll be pairing this fresh and feminine pleated number with plenty of crop tops and flirty blouses!
