It's a day for fashion wonders, you guys, when pink utility jackets and... wait for it... denim leggings, are involved. There used to be a time when utility jackets were for certain, shall we say, not so feminine occupational specialties. There used to be a time when leggings as pants was an unmentionable faux pas of the oh-no-she-didn't category, let alone those made of (faux) denim. Those times are long gone, my friends! Here is proof of exactly that- yours truly taking full advantage of some balmy Spring weather in fun layers, said jacket and leggings. In full public view, of course. ;)

The utility jacket has come a long way in recent years and now ranks as an outerwear staple. While the conventional army utility jacket is a versatile, functional and easy layer to style into a ton of outfits, I simply adore everything about this pink alternative that's all of those things and more- the perfect Spring shade, the crochet detailing on the back and sleeves, the sturdy weight.. SO much to like! Oh, and the secret to denim leggings.. it helps if it's really made of some denim. Shh, don't tell. ;)
