Another day after Labor Day, another white dress… the rebel juices are flowing freely this year, you guys! This LWD is easily one of the more fancy ones I own, but like all the other ones, it lends itself to ALL of the styling options. I wore it here as a date night/occasion option with heels and sparkly tassel earrings, but I’m already itching for cooler temperatures so I can layer it as a ruffled skirt under a chunky sweater with boots. Also, how cute is the blue velvet piping along the waistline and hem? Give me lace and velvet in one pretty package and I’m sold!

This week’s Fashion Week runways in the Big Apple have confirmed that the ruffle trend is here to stay, and I couldn’t be happier about it! I’ve gone all out with the trend here on the blog before (like in this post), but try a subtler ruffle hem like on this dress if you’re feeling shy about it. You’ll be hooked if you aren’t already, I promise! :)
