First post after Labor Day and of course, I’m wearing a white dress. #rebelbynature This pretty floral women's maxi dress is a summer favorite and although we’re into fall fashion territory now, isn’t a pretty floral dress always part of the conversation here at MMS? ;) Also in the mix are some current favourite accessories that I’ll be taking with me well into the colder months- a pair of sturdy neutral mules, some Jackie O-ish sunnies and my failsafe bamboo bag (all such steals!!).

On a more personal note, we just returned from an epic roadtrip across Arizona from which I have sooo many fun looks and experiences to share in the coming weeks. Things are on the adventurous side on the homefront as well, as yours truly just started a new job as a postdoctoral scientist at UCSF! Having made the adult decision to head straight from the airport to work this morning, I walked among the throngs rushing out of the train that’s now my everyday commute and had a pinch me moment. Here I was in one of the most energizing cities in the world, trying to use my education to do my teeny tiny bit towards making human disease less difficult, after having spent the train ride updating my ‘Bucket List’ email draft and editing pictures for today’s blog post. Much to be grateful for and much to feel inspired about. :)
