Embellished Playsuit: Old San Juan, Puerto Rico
/It's a fortunate Friday here on the bloggity blog as I bring you the last and final Puerto Rican travel post from the majestic fort of Castillo San Felipe del Morro! Fortunate, fort.. get it? ;) The final activity on our PR checklist was to explore the beautiful grounds of the El Morro Fort, and to say that it lived up to its expectations would be an understatement. A 16th century citadel that served as a Spanish stronghold, the fort sits at the edge of the north-eastern tip of the island with much of its original structure and artifacts conserved. With K being the history buff that he is and my love for the sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean along the bluff, a day spent exploring the expansive property was a day well spent. :)
I'd bought this intricately embellished romper way back last year when in India, and was so glad at the opportunity to finally romp around in it! Playsuits are a one-piece solution to all of the outfit decision problems whether on vacation or not, and I love that the beading on this one is just elaborate enough to make a statement even during the day. I threw on this lace-trimmed lingerie robe as a kimono-style duster on pure whimsy to keep covered from sunburn, but ended up loving the boho breezy vibe it brought to the look along with the fringe sandals! Perfect inspo for Coachella week outfit planning, don't you think? :)
Thank you for reading and have a wonderful weekend!
XO Sushmitha :)
