Dark Florals

So, here's proof that my legs have not disintegrated under the duress of an absolute lack of Vitamin D for six months straight! I can't even remember when I last wore a leg-baring outfit, thanks to the wild outdoors we've been in this winter, so you may find that I'm a little extra smile-y in today's post! ;) That's not the only reason, though.. I'm also smiling because today's post centers around what may be my favorite print for eternity- Florals.

It's been a while since I've worn a true floral print, and boy, have I missed it! It's easy to get into a color and print funk in the winter, so I've been consciously picking out fun prints and colors lately as we (very) slowly approach warmer temperatures. Feminine floral prints are the perfect way to get into Spring mode, and with Easter coming up next weekend, I hope that you can use this look as inspiration for your own Easter brunch plans. I've said to you lovelies before that a darker color palette can make any print cold weather appropriate, and florals are no exception to the rule! I absolutely adore this Liberty Sage floral dress.. a gorgeous print, a universally flattering fit and flare silhouette, and pockets? I mean.. come on! The basic black turtleneck continues to be the trusty friend it has always been, and I turned to layering the dress over it to handle the lingering frost.

Who's wearing transitional dark florals this weekend? You know I am! :)

Thank you for reading, and have a fun weekend!

XO Sushmitha :)
