Summer date nights are here and ohhh how I love them! Being newbie foodies in the food haven that is the San Francisco Bay Area has meant that we're overwhelmed with options on our weekly-once meal out. Add to that the fact that dinner's accompanied typically by patio table views of palm tress or ocean waves, and you won't be surprised when I say that the countdown to that weekend date begins on Monday. ;)

We snapped these pictures just before the sun set on one such evening out, and I'm happy to report that this adorable crochet top is quite the effective hider of food babies. ;) The preppy-meets-Parisian vibe isn't always my thing, but I love how some pearls and a necktie can kinda make it my thing.. even if just for a night!
