Footloose and fancy free today, you guys, because this little blog of mine turns 2 years old! All the clichés that I've said one time or the other before hold true today- time flew while I was having fun, my passion became my strength and I appreciate each of you more than you know! To both old readers and new, thank you. Putting out content for your reading pleasure has become a nightly project that I greatly look forward to everyday, and I'm thrilled that I get to continue to do it for longer than I have. :)

While it's no secret that I need little reason to doll up, I thought that celebrating my second blogiversary required a little extra, extra aka an outfit with some character and story. Enter this dreamy pastel sage blue dress that came as a gift from across the seas from a dear friend.. I love the ruched bodice and the chiffon skirt that moves like a dream! In the mix- rose gold jewels (from Carolee's bridal collection.. all the pieces are stunning!) and my favorite summer scarf. K and I shot this look literally the same day he was leaving to California, and as heavy as our hearts were and as rushed as the shoot was, I have such fond memories of that hour.. silly jokes told and an excess of smiles exchanged the way they are when everyday moments sometimes freeze in time. :)

If my back-to-back sappy speeches haven't gotten to you yet, consider this: it's wedding season y'all, woot! This look is currently top contender for an upcoming wedding.. yay or nay?
