Tie-Front Mint Playsuit
/You guys, there's something to be said for the spirit-lifting capacity of a mid-week shimmy in a cute outfit and you just have to take my word for it. Work in the lab's got me completely slammed lately and without Kushal's particular brand of pampering to come home to, I've been playing dress-up even on some weeknights (a rarity for me!), even if just to step out around the neighborhood to relax and enjoy the last stretch of these warm summer nights. So what if I'm caught in public shouting actual words at a tripod.. nothing to see here, people, just a tired girl trying to document her OOTN! ;)
All public embarrassment c/o my self-photography escapades are warranted, though, when the outfit's as cute as this one! Love at first sight doesn't begin to describe my thoughts on this adorable playsuit that's equal parts darling and daring. The bow tie front with the plunging neckline with the ruffle hem with the sage-mint green.. I should really stop cos' I'm really pushing it with the grammar here. If you're thinking this isn't as modest as you'd like, my vision for it's use during the fall- over a thin turtleneck and tights- may work if done right!
These faux-suede sandals are from this post, except fully laced up here, and I last styled this gorgeous lariat necklace here.. versatile accessories for the win! Embroidered hats have been a rage this season and this floppy one (with lots of other options available!) is designer chic for a wayyy more reasonable price point.
Thank you for reading and have a great week/weekend ahead!
XO Sushmitha :)
