The Fall/Winter Dress Guide
/Presenting a mini-guide to seasonal dress-ing in today’s post, assuming that you are as much a fan of this one-and-done approach to clothing as I am. Blessed be the retailers that make such a variety of beautiful dresses and unknowingly encourage my now standard habit of giving zero thought to weekend outfits, purely on the faith that a well assembled dress collection will come to my rescue! Specifically, one retailer - Femme Luxe - can singlehandedly do so, as you’ll soon find out when you scroll though the list below of my four fall favorites from their extensive and fun dress collection.
1. The Printed Shirtdress
Make it in silk in a rich jewel-toned color palette and you will forever have my heart.❤️
2. The Animal Print Mini Dress
As if the bold print wasn’t enough to make a statement with, this one has ruffled sleeves, a cut-out bow-tied waist and a fitted buttoned skirt. Somehow, it all works in a way that I can also wear velvet knee high boots.
If you’re extra and you know it, clap your hands!👏🏽😂
3. The Sweater Dress
This pretty pink number is so cozy that I gave several hugs to myself when I wore it.
When a piece of clothing has that kind of Jen Sincero effect on your life, it’s a sure winner!
4. The Knit Maxi Dress
I usually shy away from fitted bodycon dresses that I can’t freely stuff my face in, but this one caught my eye for the winter-friendly maxi length (tapered maxi skirts/dresses always work as a petite girl’s trick to leg lengthening!).
I wore this look on a neighborhood stroll to play with some matchy fall leaves, but the real moment of the evening was when K offered his appreciative nod at my outfit. Please and thank youuuu! 🤗
Thank you for reading and have a wonderful weekend!
XO Sushmitha :)
