Come one, come all.. there's a print partayyy goin' on up here! It's a wild Friday, you guys, because I even went all rules-aren't-allowed and declared a BYOB(T) mandate on this one.. Bring Your Own Bubble Tea, FYI, in case the brazen prop placement in the above photo wasn't a big enough hint. While the Ms. MS of the past finds a dark corner to close her eyes and nod slow, dejected nods of the head at the fact that my drink of choice on Friday nights now is Taro Root Tea, let's just go ahead and take a look at what I'm wearing at said party, shall we? ;)

What's better than wearing one of your favorite summer pieces? Wearing all of them at once in the same outfit, of course! The floral-on-floral print party aside, I love the textural and silhouette mix in this look.. lace on chiffon, boxy crop top over pleated flared skirt. I've had both of the pieces I'm wearing waiting to be worn since last year's end of summer shopping rounds, so I sure am glad to have finally taken them out on the town! The bag is a treasured buy from my last trip to India, not just because it's genuine leather and handmade, but because it comes with memories of heart-racing excitement, fear and then triumphant joy after a good ol' haggling war! Beautiful things are great, but beautiful things with stories are just the best, aren't they? :)
