And it's finally Fri-yayyy! I hope your weekend plans are exciting and fun, because K and I are living very vicariously through Walter White's (mis)adventures on Breaking Bad from our sofa, while the world outside freezes over. So many of my favorite bloggers have proven their mettle, as evidenced by the most gorgeous, glamorous shots in the snow on their blogs, but I think I'll hold out on that torture test for a while longer. While the snow itself may look nice, I'm not so sure that my clenched fists and set teeth make for such a pretty sight! :-|

With that excuse, I'm bringing you the second outfit from my Goan vacation annals today. I wore this look on our first night in Goa for a lovely beach-side dinner, after a long day of exploring Old Goa (if you missed it, I shared my day look in this post). *My exhaustion from the humidity and heat, along with our chase of the light before sunset, may become apparent in the low light in the pictures, so please excuse the light/dark variations!*

Purple is a color that I really love, but strangely, have very little of in my own closet! There's something so feminine and romantic about shades of lavender and purple.. it almost feels as soothing as the sound of the waves, no? :) The beach side dinner was the perfect occasion for this pairing of a flirty floral dress with a chunky knit, with the purple and blush shades in the floral print tying the look together.
