Pom Pom Party

Hello, hello from one busy bee to another! Rushed would be the word to accurately describe my life right now.. rushed to get things done at work, rushed to catch up with family and friends after a roller-coaster week, and of course, rushed to milk as much as possible out of the last weekend of summer. Monday begins Fall 2015, ya'll.. where does the time go?! You can expect sweaters and scarves in your favorite (Indulge me for now, why don't you?) blog's near future, but in all honesty, my weather forecast app is perplexing me with glorious 80 degree weather for a while more, so maybe you won't. ;) Regardless, what you can most definitely expect to see here in the near future is more of the star of today's post- Pitusa

Pitusa houses a collection of the most fun, light and comfortable garments that are made in Peru. Having visited the beautiful country recently myself, I can truly appreciate how the pieces have captured the bright Peruvian colors and details in universally appealing cuts and silhouettes. One of my first picks from the collection was this bohemian-meets-the-70s off-shouldered top with bell sleeves, pom pom trims and embroidered details. We snapped these photos just before it turned dark on our way to a casual dinner on a crazy hot day, hence the distressed cut offs and reflective aviators. Boho continues to be all the rage going into Fall, so I brought out my treasured embroidered clutch to play, not realizing that the pom pom details on it happens to match my top perfectly! #winwin

Thank you for reading and have a fabulous weekend!
XO Sushmitha :)
