Palm Print Jumpsuit + The Mission at San Juan Bautista
/The enthusiastic Hitchcockian fans that we are, a Saturday was set aside for a road trip to the Mission at San Juan Bautista- the beautiful property that played set to the grave but edge-of-the-seat-entertaining but grave climax of Vertigo. It's a mere two hour drive from the peninsula to this place of historical cinematic significance, if you too are into re-enacting scenes of being chased by Jimmy Stewart (My forever movie star crush, le sigh.) to the bell-tower like you're Kim Novak. 📽
Flawed premise to begin with, because
1) Jimmy Stewart would never have to chase me to anything. He could lift one foot in my general direction and I'd be melting into a puddle of googly eyed goo at said foot.💔
2) 'like you're Kim Novak'! Pssh. As if I could be. Again... le sigh.
If you're not into role play, fear not!
The grounds of the Mission at SJB are so worth a visit all on their own, what with the characteristic Spanish colonial architecture and expansive gardens. Throw on a cute outfit (this jumpsuit with it's side-split pants, though... 💯) and go check it out, it's a good old California roadtrip if there ever was one! 😊
Thank you for reading and have a great weekend!
XO Sushmitha :)
