Marble Print Pencil Skirt

Happy Spring to all of my folks on my side of the world! Spring Equinox has now come and gone, but as per Buffalo standard time, the weather is not due to get the memo for a while more. :| We greeted Spring with a little snow, but no matter! Because you see, I have now experted the art of fake-it-till-you-make-it at home. Tulips are happily perched in my living room, ice cream has re-entered the freezer for the first time since October and tropical scents are wafting around the rooms c/o the good people of Target having a happy batch of Yankee Candles on clearance. I think I'm equaling hibernation in bear terminology, but when the universe does NOT conspire with you to realize your dream, you've gotta do what you've gotta do..

So back in the day when it prematurely did feel like Spring, I wore this easy look for an early morning coffee date. Those that follow me on Instagram may know that I had the honor of being chosen by thredUP as one of their March 'Insta-Gals', and I got to pick out a few pieces that I'll be sharing on here for the next few weeks. thredUP is an extremely well-curated boutique offering gently used or unused clothing and accessories (including a ton of designer goodies!) at discounted prices.. basically heaven for thrift and consignment store junkies like me! My first pick was this gorgeous Zara marble print pencil skirt. I paired it with a basic cozy sweater and sneakers this time, but it holds so much styling promise for work and play.. LOVE.

Thank you for reading and have a great week ahead!
XO Sushmitha :)
