Little White Dress
/Being in India most of this year's holiday season, I've been slightly removed from all things quintessentially Christmas so far, save for that occasional Christmas tree in a mall or store. Between all the spicy food I'm eating and the perfectly warm weather, it's easy to forget that it's December! However, ignoring the fact that I may or may not have had to keep reminders to shoot these outfits, I'm excited to be sharing some fun party looks now until New Years' with you all. As I join my dear husband back home just in time for Christmas, you can be sure to find me (jetlagged!) in one of these looks as we welcome the new year in the week to come. :)
I'm not one to shy away from unspoken dress code cliches, but I bet that wearing red to every one of those Christmas parties can get a little boring. Don't deny it, come now! ;) And then of course, there's the sudden allergy one develops to the color in that sensitive time after Christmas, making the little black dress a godsend on new years' eve. Been there, done that, my friend. Enter the perfect solution to all of your wardrobe woes.. the Little White Dress. I promise you, as long as you stay away from the dangers of ketchup and the likes, you'll be the talk of the party! ;)
Normally, I would tell you that a good LWD must be feminine, have a good fit and more such generic nonsense. But this fancy number has upped the requirements for a party-perfect LWD.. nothing less than a gigantic bow and a bubble skirt will do! I added just the slightest amount of lady-like gold and red in the accessories to add interest. :)
Fresh Winter Whites re-appear every year on the trend chart, and one of my favorite ways to wear the color is in the form of a feminine look such as this one. Needless to say, not only is it a perfect party look during the holiday season, the LWD makes for effortless dressing in the warmer months as well.

Happy holidays, everyone, and thank you for reading!
