The High-Low Tunic

A quick hello and some mid-week outfit inspiration on this Wednesday! This is probably the first time in months that I haven't worn a sweater or a coat, and I have to say, it feels pretty darn good! Even though the temperatures have stayed low, there were a few days last week when the sun was shining and it felt so much like Spring.. so much so that I couldn't help wearing a few looks I'd been saving for when it's really, truly Spring. Today, I'm sharing one of those looks, featuring a stunning high-low tunic from Liberty Sage that has quickly risen to the top of my favorite statement pieces in my closet.

The high-low trend has been a love or hate trend for most, but it can work wonders for the petite frame if close attention is paid to the hem lengths. For the high-low top, I personally prefer the longer length exactly like the one I'm wearing here, with the low hem hitting just below my knee and the high hem hitting somewhere on my upper thighs.  This abstract printed piece has such a lovely drape and flow, and the leather and cut-out detailing on the neck don't hurt either! ;) This whole look felt so simple yet made such a statement.. I have a feeling it's going to become a go-to date night look!

Thank you for reading, and happy hump day!

XO Sushmitha :)
