Foggy Day Style
/Has it become somewhat obvious that I live a bi-coastal life now? Typing these words on east coast time while uploading images from my west coast time once again, but not for much longer as graduation day soon approaches.. woot! Off I go to deal with associated current priorities, but not before I share this comfy-basics-meets-statement-accessories look I wore on a typical foggy San Francisco day.
K and I have tried to be weekend explorers of the many neighborhoods the Bay Area gives us access to, but one place we've been back to more than once has been the waterfront Embarcadero in SF. It's synonymous with the tourist trap that is the Fisherman's Wharf for most visitors, but we love avoiding those more crowded sections of the pier for the Ferry Building, where sipping coffee while grabbing some local produce before walking along the water to views of the Bay Bridge has become a favorite way to spend an afternoon. I slipped on some comfy layers as is necessary in SF with these AOS jeans from SMAC in the mix. Just FYI for my petite ladies, I'm always impressed with the fit and comfort of AOS jeans on my frame and at this pricepoint + 20% off using the code 'MMS20', I recommend checking them out!
I always love playing with accessories to amp up a basic look, and this faux-stack from Saachi has been an constant repeat- it goes with everything! What also goes with everything, despite what you'd think, are these fabulous floral velvet ankle boots that were a birthday gift from the bestie earlier in the year. Just a warning if you're a statement shoe junkie that hit that link, I may have sent you down a deep, deep rabbit hole. #sorrynotsorry
Thank you for reading and have a great weekend!
XO Sushmitha :)
