And here we are on the last blog entry of 2017! As I began to write this post with the obligatory self introspective tone in mind, I realized that I almost have no proper way of describing my year to you guys at all.

Nothing really happened this year, yet a lot has changed.
Read as: I spent most of my time in my lab coat with to-do lists for company as always, yet I now have a Dr. prefix and PhD suffix to my name. Whaaaat?

We didn't travel anywhere far, yet we now live 2700 miles from where we used to.
Read as: Traded the snow for sunshine with our move to Cali and 2017 will always be the year that made me a normal happy human because of it!

I am the same person I was, yet I'm completely different.
Read as: Never have I been as aware of my core values and priorities as in the year Donald Trump became POTUS. New facts, who dis?

And finally, thanks to your lovely readership I'm lucky enough to have here on my corner of the internet...
Miss Minus Sized continues to be my happy safe space, yet it's become so much more.
Read as: We had some of our first travel collaborations in 2017, a few favorite brands became part of long term campaigns and most importantly, there's a stronger community that exists around MMS now than before. *shrieks, runs around room and slams into wall in delirious joy*

So all in all, a good year? I hope you're all looking back on your 2017s fondly as well, and I wish you more joy and peace in the year to come. Have a safe and wonderful celebration this weekend... and let's get it in 2018, shall we? :)
