A quick hello to all of you gentlefolks today, as would be expected in the week leading up to Christmas. How it is already the end of the year and where has the time gone?!

I’ve been reaching for effortlessly chic looks look such as this one in today’s post for all the pre-holiday run arounds, which in our case this year, involves apartment hunting with timely breaks for customary December carbs in food or drink form. ;)

A good slip dress is one of the more versatile silhouettes and I’m a fan of the standard slinky silk (a triple S threat!) version as much as the other girl (styled a gorgeous emerald green one as a top in this post!). This floral printed slip dress is a refreshing change for daytime activities… the ruffle hem sways like a dream with every step and there’s no end to the accessorizing potential if you layer a basic white tee underneath.

With any luck, wearing this happily overloaded look to the mall will keep me from any #treatyoself action! *crosses fingers*
