Desk to Drinks: Clear Glasses + Plaid Knot Skirt
/Whether you’re a true dependent on eye-wear or a faux nerd that simply enjoys the librarian-vibes of clear glasses (aye!), I’m here to do you the service of introducing Coastal. It’s a one stop shop for all of your eye-wear needs- be it prescription glasses, sunglasses or contact lenses- that not only keeps the budget low but also the chic factor high. Despite being thoroughly spoilt for choice, it took me fairly little time to pick out these tortoise shell frames that I’ve been wearing at home and beyond, on repeat!
On their first test drive out on a Friday coffee date, I styled them in a preppy-meets-casual look made up of some of my recent favorite warm weather pieces. This tie-front plaid skirt is such a chic and versatile piece (+ <$13 right now on sale!!) for the workplace that transcends all seasons, which is exactly why I figured a nice big pop of summery yellow was in order! I threw on a relaxed velvet cardigan, pushed my Coastal glasses up the bridge of my nose and voila! nobody would guess I was out of the business of pulling all-nighters in grad school. ;)
