Happy 2017, my dears! I hope that every one of you had a wonderful time ringing in the new year and that no matter your preferred style of celebration, there was love and laughter involved. Here's to the next 363 days carrying on along the same lines! Even as the celebrations draw to a close and we call upon ourselves to face our daily routines with fresh eyes, I'm reminded of how much I look forward to what this little blog of mine brings this year. Stepping into the new year in what else but more velvet, this time as a floral maxi skirt in the most perfect wintry color palette. Since we shot this look on a mild California winter evening right around New Year's, I gave the look a festive vibe with this rich burgundy choker top and statement chandelier earrings, but a quick twist of the skirt slit to the side and I'd just as easily wear it over tights with booties and a chunky sweater in colder weather!
