Say aye if you worked over the long weekend! In true keeping with MLK Jr.'s spirit of action and more action, my 2017 has shown little mercy so far. With plans of graduation (eek!) in the near future, it's been off to the races lately, but all the exciting things to follow this last stint in graduate school are helping to keep my head above water. If any of you are going through the inevitable pre-graduation workload pileup this winter/spring or remember from back when you did, how did you cope with being overwhelmed?? I'd love any self preservation tips from fellow boss ladies. :)

Today's outfit centers around classic fall/winter staples- a little animal print, some faux-leather and a bit of solid ankle boot action. I threw this look together in a rush, but in all honesty, all it takes is one of these pieces I'm wearing to make dressing up that easy. I live everyday in casual tops such as this multicolored blouse.. cute details like the keyhole neck and ruffles plus long sleeves to keep the office AC at bay? I'm sold! Moto jackets in faux suede or faux leather are all the rage right now, so if you're in the market, this burgundy one with all the hardware deets is a steal!
