You know your outfit’s on point when the sweet old lady running the Christmas Tree farm interrogates you on your dress because she’d like to gift it to her grand-daughter. Cue the aww x 10! Wouldn’t you agree that this burgundy lace beauty is a conversation starter if there ever was one?! It makes for the perfect formal look for any occasion, really, but I’ll be happily settled in it around the Christmas Tree this weekend, likely sipping on a glass of a certain similar colored drink with loved ones. :)

We’re spending Christmas in the mountains this year at Yosemite National Park, where I’m keeping my fingers crossed to find snow! Regardless, it’s bound to be a stunning winter scene up there and I’m beyond excited to embrace my inner cozy-crazy self. Ironically, since we’ve always tried to travel to warmer weather away from the Buffalo snow in winters past, K’s been looking at me like I’m bonkers as I gleefully say things like “Imagine if it actually does snow on Christmas day!” and “Look look, I’m bringing my favorite gloves and beanie on this trip!”.

Ohh, to see the world with fresh eyes! Add that to the list of things to thank my dear California for!! :)
