Every winter, I keep my eyes peeled for a statement winter jacket. Since so much of winter wear revolves around fairly standard pants and top/sweater combos, I rely on outerwear to pack a punch if need be. In past years, it's been a sturdy tweed topper or a tailored floral coat or a leopard print faux-fur stunner or a fierce full-length puffer jacket but this year... well, I turned 30 two weeks into 2018 and ain't nobody got the patience anymore for gambles on outerwear. ;)
