Hello from the Tropics, good folks! Me and the Toucan are adventuring in the jungles today, and you're welcome to join our little party! Fashion is almost synonymous with playing pretend, don't you think? Nothing beats the feeling of recreating whatever is taking my fancy on a certain day in an outfit. More often than not, I'm dreaming of traveling to all of the exotic lands our wonderful world is made of. Until the next time that I find myself in a tropical paradise, no better way to keep the dream alive than wearing it! Talk about wearing one's heart on the sleeve! ;)

Added to all of the ghastly things that are currently happening in the world (such as war, you guys. In 2014.) is the fact that Fall seems to have taken the fastest plane there is to arrive a month early here in Buffalo. Its been so chilly and rainy here lately that I most definitely have developed frown lines. Not to forget the intense scorned lover type feelings from the sudden taking off of summer. But, but, but.. it did give me a reason to bring out a pair of printed pants that I'm particularly fond of.

Summer and pants just don't go together in my books. After five days of relatively uninteresting work wear ('No pants, No Science', say the multiple notices in my building.), I'm usually picking out the most fun, non-pant pieces in my closet on the weekends. But one has to make exceptions for some fancy pants. I mean.. red silk, excessively tasseled, pockets.. the works.
